  I just had to post about our pathetic public transport system in australia. We have the worst system in the modern world Bar none. Not even India. They are going far ahead of us in terms of IT and infrastructure.

Soon, Australia and India will pass each other going in opposite directions. One down the gurgler, and one emerging as a country to be reckoned with in terms of IT and Infrastructure.

What a Joke. What a Fucking Joke.

  I have been writing a cool BASH menu script for Linux and have just finished the fucking thing. I have optimised the code beyond what the Teacher suggetsted, especially with embedded Perl code to echo the Enviroment Variables.

The script is in the ./linux directory. Just chmod a+x menu.sh and you are ready to go. I have written this script in C++, but using BASH makes it much more challenging.

And Platform specific. At least C++ can be ported. Just look at Linux Doom.

  Well, they have found water, or evidence of on Mars.

I think they will find evidence of life very soon. All of the religious types who only believe life was created on Earth and not anywhere else, they are deluded. The universe is enormous and that is not counting the other universes in the multiverse. I believe there are as many planets with life as there are trees on Earth at least.

I has to be. Mulder and Scully should get on down to Mars and look for evidence of life. I am sure they will find something. Maybe underground they will find evidence of civilisation that retreated underground to escape the drought.

  I am writing this on a red hat linux machine on the colledge network. Linux has it all over Windows in many ways. The operating system is much more secure than Windows '98 or XP.

The goddamn joke that is Outlook "Express" Just mails all the viruses from your computer to everyone else on your address book. What a fucking goddamn joke. I hope Windows Longhorn is more secure than Windows XP. I mean Linux installs software very well, and when you come to uninstall it, it is actually totally removed. What a concept.

But what do you expect from Redmond. Sparkling Quality Software ? Super Stable, server software ala Apache Server. I doubt it.

In other news, I have finished the Doom E1M7 styled map for Doom2 I was going to make. I will release it very soon. I have also started on a Hell Map for Doom2 with a higly original Final Doom Plutonia style.
